Paul is currently presenting to over 300 schools and organisations across Australia
I have been presenting to schools across Australia for 5 years. In that time I have gone from presenting to just 5 schools for friends and family, to now presenting to over 300 schools and organisations across Australia.
My reputation has increased dramatically in that time due to the strength, knowledge and impact my presentations have on each audience. My education is captivating and engaging and the messages presented are having a real impact on the school communities I presents to. Time and time again my feedback from students is "The best speaker we have ever had at this school." I am always very proud to hear that. My education to students is a priority because they are the ones right in the middle of it all. Based on my experience, I tell them how things really are and I give them useable tools to help themselves online without bagging them or telling them off. Kids do not want to be "lectured", as such, it is this approach that has seen me continue to grow in popularity.
I offer a wide range of age appropriate presentations which vary in content and subject matter. A presentation is tailored to each year group, so a Year 7 session will be very different to a Year 12. This is because each age group is dealing with varying online concerns and issues. A school presentation runs between 50 minutes to 1 hour or longer depending on your schools needs. Presentations for a whole school can be held over 1 or 2 school days, encompassing each year group individually. Parent and/or teacher presentations can also be conducted on any given day if bookings are available.
I can meet with your staff and provide a comprehensive content outline and determine the best approach for your schools needs. A Surf Online Safe presentation provides up-to-date technically relevant knowledge with valuable learning tools to better equip your whole school community for interacting online.
No other internet awareness presenter in Australia offers such true coal face experience, knowledge or subject matter relevance. Others claim to be "experts", but kids don't care about that stuff. They just want to know how to be aware, whilst still being able to interact freely online with their peers. My experience within the Technology Crime Investigation Unit of the WA Police, offers invaluable education opportunities for all students and parents. More importantly, my presentation style ensures students are engaged and also have a great laugh whilst still learning.
